Bird Seed Cakes

Seed cakes are a compact, less sticky alternative to suet cakes. They are usually suspended in cages and will produce less mess and conserve feed resulting in a cost savings for you.

These nutritious treats are offered in a broad range of blends to satisfy songbirds of all species. Choose from bird seed cakes with ingredients such as peanuts, sunflower, safflower, fruit, nyjer and even beetle! Remember birds will be weary of new foods so before you add new seed cakes be sure to add some of the old too.

You can use seed cakes year round, these cakes can remain fresh through extreme summer and winter temperatures and provide your birds with the energy they need year round.

Seed cakes vary in size and shape, making them a flexible feeding option that can be offered alone or with other types of bird food. Check your seed cakes for mold and do not store your bird seed cakes in hot places for extended periods of time. Most bird feed is kept fresh when stored in airtight bins in a cool dry location.
